ABOUT CARMEL AYURVEDA VILLAGE

Herbal Compress Balls

Carmel Ayurveda Village and Research Centre is more than just a resort; it's a sanctuary for integrated living and the art of healthy living, deeply rooted in the traditions and principles of Ayurveda. We recognize and harness Ayurveda's inherent ability to cleanse and heal the body and soul, purifying the mind, sustaining health, and regaining physical fitness for a truly healthy life.

Carmel Ayurveda Village is the culmination of a genuine interest in making the best practices of Ayurvedic medicine accessible. This ancient system, passed down through generations since 500 BC, has been central to our mission since this Centre's initiation in 1983. Our foundation stems from the social commitment activities of the Nirmalgram Welfare Centre, established under the Carmel Province of CMI Congregation, founded by the great visionary and reformer of Kerala, Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara.

Carmel Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Centre is dedicated to the practice and propagation of Ayurveda, India's ancient healthcare system. We offer classical Ayurvedic medicines and authentic Ayurvedic treatments and therapies to patients from all over India and abroad. The inspiration for this endeavor emanated from the public and the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Fathers of the Carmel Province, Muvattupuzha, Kerala, India, leading to the establishment of CARMEL AYURVEDA VILLAGE AND RESEARCH CENTRE.

TESTIMONIALS

"My stay at Carmel Ayurveda Village was truly life-changing. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, the calmness of the surroundings and the warmth of the staff made me feel instantly at home. The Ayurvedic treatments were authentic and deeply rejuvenating. I arrived stressed and exhausted, but left feeling lighter, healthier, and more connected to myself. The food was wholesome and nourishing, and the yoga sessions by the riverside were simply magical. This is not just a resort—it's a sanctuary for the soul. I can't wait to return!"
